How CentPinch vets deals

CentPinch is affiliate-funded, but the homepage is not for sale. A deal earns its spot by looking useful, current, and worth checking before the price moves.

What gets checked

  • Price: we look for a real current price, a believable retailer, and savings context when the data is available.
  • Freshness: fast-moving deals are rechecked and stale listings are removed when the price jumps, the page dies, or the window passes.
  • Source quality: feeds that keep producing weak posts lose priority; sources that surface useful finds get more weight.
  • Disclosure: paid links are labeled before the click, and retailer buttons route through CentPinch tracking before sending you to the store.

What does not buy placement

Commission rate does not decide what lands here. CentPinch does not sell sponsored deal slots, paid placements, or pay-to-rank homepage space. If that changes someday, it will be labeled plainly before the click.

About Bill Dollar

Bill Dollar is the CentPinch mascot and deals-desk voice. The mascot keeps the tone sharp, but the rules stay boring on purpose: show the price, label paid links, pull bad deals, and never pretend an affiliate link is neutral.
